The highest neutrality.

Another morning, another walk. As I moved through the space by the river, I was meditating on a pain I'd experienced the two previous nights.

My intuition informed me that this pain was an echo of my past, where I had felt forced to do things that felt wrong to me.

I acknowledged that past, and then called upon the spirits of the land where I was walking to assist me with letting this energy go:

Dear spirits of the land,
Assist me in releasing this energy
From my deep past,
That I may be free to move on
To do work in the name of…

I paused. “Highest good” were the habitual words that came to mind, but I realized something was off there.

My (current) perspective is that the “highest” energies aren't “good”, even if than the “lowest” energies can be considered “evil”.

The “lowest” states are where we are convinced of our separateness, fragmented into light and dark, good and evil, this and that, right and wrong.

Thus, in contrast to being “good”, the “highest” states are where we realize our oneness in All.

"All-ness" implies integration, which in turn implies that good and evil, light and dark, right and wrong, cease to be separate.

What then, I pondered, would be an appropriate description for what I'm sensing and seeking to serve?

"The highest neutrality," whispered the words through my mind.

"Oooh!" I gave a delighted laugh in response to the powers that be that gave this inspiration. "Genius!" I do believe I got a 😉 in response.

Thus, I finished my request with a deep smile of resonance.
