I changed it to, "Evil is born from the delusion of separateness," because illusion itself is not inherently harmful.
It is delusion that is harmful.
When I fail or refuse to see clearly and respond aptly to illusion as illusion, delusion is born.
When I forget that all is oneness in the formless source of nothingness, I am deluded.
If evil is born from the delusion of separateness, then evil is also born from the natural conclusion of that delusion, which is to perpetuate more separateness.
